Is it necessary to install an antenna on my roof to use a TV converter box digital receiver?
I used satellite TV, but due to budget problems, we decided to terminate our service. Fortunately, the coupons I received from the Government for the purchase of converter boxes are still good, so let's pick up a couple this weekend. Is it necessary to install an antenna on the roof tiles for a job? If so, is there another option and climb to the roof. There is no money to hire someone professional to do for us.
The short answer is no … the signal within the penetration reaches the CAN … the mean response is the signal power could be improved if the converter / antenna is high … The long answer is more air converters must be repositioned for free use with some stations. I have cable and should not address this issue. My friend has one on your deck (mounted on a tripod right) and turn the antenna needs from time to where when you change staion.
